Ray Knight hit 2 doubles and had 2 RBI as the Cincinnati Reds bested the
Montreal Expos 6 to 1 at Olympic Stadium.

Cincinnati scored the decisive runs in a big top of the 8th inning when they
came up with 5 runs on 4 hits. The key at-bat was by Dan Driessen who helped
quiet the crowd when he tripled with all three runners coming home.
Cincinnati had a total of 10 hits for the game.

Tom Seaver(16-9) picked up the victory, allowing 1 run in 7 innings. David
Palmer(1-5) was the loser. He allowed 8 hits and 1 walk in 7 and 1/3
innings.
