Cincinnati Reds defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 5 to 0 at Riverfront
Stadium.

Seaver(12-7) was on top of his game. He allowed just 3 hits and no walks in 9

Rick Sutcliffe(9-6) was the losing pitcher. He pitched 5 innings and

said of Seaver. 'Very impressive performance.'
