Roger Clemens racked up an impressive total of 10 strikeouts as the amazing
Philadelphia Phillies topped the Boston Braves by a score of 3 to 2 at Braves
Field.
 
Clemens(12-5) had a strong outing.  He allowed only 2 hits and 5 walks in 8
innings.  Boston had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.
 
Clemens got relief help from Randy Myers who gained credit for his 20th save.
Ted Higuera(3-9) was tagged with the loss.  
 
Clemens was pleased with his performance.  He noted, 'I had good command of
all my pitches.  Just as important, my location was right on.'
