Sandy Koufax mowed down 11 Milwaukee batters at County Stadium as the Los
Angeles Dodgers beat the Milwaukee Braves by the count of 5 to
3.
 
Koufax(15-10) looked very much in control throughout the day.  He surrendered
only 5 hits and 4 walks in 8 innings.  Los Angeles had 7 hits for the
afternoon.  
 
Koufax got help from Larry Sherry who was credited with his 15th save.  Warren
Spahn(15-9) was given the loss.  He pitched 7 innings giving up 7 hits and 4
walks.
 
Chuck Dressen was impressed with Koufax and his 11 strikeouts.  'It's tough to
generate runs if you can't make contact with the ball.'
